Off hand, I would say it is an aftermarket "Chevy" style universal, like the Helix brand. The controls are different from most stock columns. I bet if you look underneath the dash you will see the giant dumb Chevy big flat connector. The kit on it looks like a generic Grant unit.

It looks like an early Chevette style column to me. It could easily be an aftermarket column like stated above also.

It is a stock Chevette column from the early 80's. I can't remember the exact years. If you were lucky, you could find one with the tilt feature.

The hub is standard aftermarket stuff, with a provision for the horn button. I think they had 3 bolts to hold the steering wheel to the hub adapter.

To know the exact fit, you'll have to pull the hub and measure the shaft for diameter and spline count.

My Chevette tilt had a key on right side. It was ground off, body worked and I am going to use a remote start/alarm unit.

Chevettes had the key as stated, also the housing cover is squared off on the left side. Not a chance iin hell it's a stock Chevette column.

Chevette installed in a CRii, zoom in a bit on the pic, you will see plainly that is not it.

I forgot about the key. I ground my key off also. Definitely not a Chevette.

I have the Chevette (translated- Shove-it America if you remember Chevy's commercials) in my CR1. It does have the tilt and key

If memory serves me from the Don Scott days it is the Chevette steering column. My CR didn't have that one so I couldn't tell you what it looks like. Is there a part number you can google??
