taking body off chassis

How difficult is this, have many changes that would be alot easier if the body was off frame. . I understand the wiring and such, but where does the CRII actually attach to the frame

There are numerous riveted spots that you will need to drill out. Plus some areas that may be glued in place. It will be interesting to see this done! Please take photos if you do move forward with this!

Well if there is glue, its staying in place..

The instructions show it to be applied to inner panels attached to the body, not the frame. But who knows what was done when your car was assembled!

DV posted how to mount a body on 03 09 2010. (05-08-2011) last reply. Mounting a Classic Roadster Body: My Way. It’s got details about where glue is at, where screws are. It’s the way to mount one for sure. I recommend reading all of his posts as he is the man
