Default gt40 or gt40p heads with CRII headers

I'm going with a 302/5.0L and T5 out of a 91 LX fox. looking to do some mild mods, changing to an EFI, prob Holly Terminator, and figured I'd throw some GT40 heads on it while I'm at it. There's a few 5.0 Explorers at the junk yard, and I'm wondering who's run these heads in their CRII and how they've fit with the headers. The GT40P head has a different angle to the spark plugs, and they come on a straighter angle out of the head. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced any clearance issues. Just want to make sure I'm not going to put a ton of work into rebuilding and port matching some heads and have a head slap moment followed by some choice words.

Also, any suggestions on a cam? Like I said, mild 91 302, T5, 8.8 with 3.55's, terminator efi
