Default Sidepipes Classic Chambered

had a set of new sidepipes made locally and had ceramic coated too. used the Classic Chambered mufflers and had all new pipes done. Still have my original set as well if anything happens to these. When completed, I pulled the headers too and had them all Ceramic Coated locally. Used new Remflex gaskets on all connections and stage 8 locking header bolts as well. Sounds great sitting, now to get on the road soon, too cold right now.

I have a pair on my 347, love the sound, mellow (Tuned?) Tone I would say, Brent (EM-0785) has them on his 514 BBF, and they sound great on a Big Block as well, very well made. Here's hoping you like them as much Sycraft Cheers Tom.

I replaced FFR original of 24 years with classic chambered muffler. Turned tip down 5 degrees . Sounds fantastic and is now the best sounding leaf blower!!!!

Sycraft you may need to re tune your engine. I picked up 80HP when I switched over to the CC mufflers 2 1/2" on my 390fe. I was pretty shocked at how restrictive the CR pipes were.

True, but only a 302 already making pretty good hp for that displacement. If I can gain on 342 hp I will be happy, plus I was slightly rich before, so this may settle right in

Went for a 40 degree test drive, could not stand it any longer. All I can say is that the sound is much deeper than the classic industries sidepipes and they sound fantastic. As far as power, its still too cold to really check, and I have not driven it in several months. but overall I'd say it makes the car feel stronger. Spinning through 1st and 2nd getting on the ramp is always a pleasure.

Still in the building stages and need to buy a set of headers and side pipes. The motor I am putting in is a 351 Cleveland with 4V heads. Was looking at GasN touring, but they would have to build custom headers. Is there anything off the shelf that would work with my setup? I would be capable of making modifications to an suit, but need to have something to start with. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I used my original set as a templet, my shop was reasonable, 900 for the pair plus coating.

have never seen any factory ones. I was wondering what the brackets off the pipes looked like to connect to the frame. the pic you posted cut them off. I imagine I'll be doing something different anyway

I got my original side pipes out today and took a couple of photos of the rear hanger design.

If you need measurements or a template, let me know.

I believe any powder coating shop should be able to finish your pipes after they are welded up.

Mine are chrome fro CR. I will put them on just to get the car runnong. But I plan to replace them with new muffles as described above, and have them powder coated like I did my headers.
