Default CR made 2 seperate frames???

I picked up my kit in November of 1995. It was set up for a small block. I read on an earlier post that classic made a small block frame that provides more leg room. Just curious if I would have that frame, or if that is something CR came up with after I had purchased my kit.

Cobra Hawk if your drivers foot floor pan area is steel and not fiberglass then you have the newer type frame. Only difference is the drivers foot area was widened.

DV, Don,

One of these days when one of you gets a free minute you've *got* to take some good pictures of the newer driver's foot area and post 'em here for everyone to see.

I've got the older frame and this winter I'd love to hack out the fiberglass and get myself a little more foot room! Heck, I'd love to move the pedals forward a few inches too ... yet another project for this winter!

I just posted a picture in the CR thread "footspace" and explained how I used to modify the big block frame. I can post other pictures if needed.
