Voltage regulator

Would you happen to know the NAPA part number for the voltage regulator that's typically used. (Standard Ford system)

Oh, another question...
The CR manual says the hood latch and cable comes from a Volkswagen. Do you know what model and year(s)?

The regulator is a VR438 Echlin, standard Ford electronic. The VW hood latch is no longer available except through me. I had them made in Brazil to the old specs. The cost is $55 for the upper and lower. For the cable I would purchase a good one from Lokar. The one Classic used was a choke cable and it didn't work very well.

Sorry, the application for the hood latch was the older bugs and some of the rabbits. I don't know exactly which years. Some of them were reversed from what you need.
