Ed,

I am not familiar with your Duraspark box, but can you take an ohm meter and see if it is open or shorted between any of the terminals? Most likely you blew a chip or whatever they use in those boxes. Can you wire around the box and see if the car will start? That is what I do with my Jacobs if I have a problem. Sorry that I can't tell you more. Maybe a suggestion. Don't ever put electrical wires back on where you think they go.
