Air cleaners

I hate to bring this subject up again. The guys around my shop beat this to death and it has caused me to have to paint the inside of my hood AGAIN !
Without regard to micro tenths of performance. I am past the point of caring. What air cleaners are you guys using that clear the hood with a 351 and victor JR. I was using a 9 inch K&N with the extreme top but the Superformance weenies have me convinced I am starving the motor. So four air cleaners later and 300 bucks of hood scratches I am back to the K&N.

Any suggestions?
