As GR said, take a look under the dash.

In the CR Cobra the wiper motor is located under the dash on the passenger's side (right side) of the car. The motor is tucked up under the dash up against the cowl bar that runs the width of the car.

The output of the motor assembly will most likely look like a steel tube running to the passenger's side wiper gear head. The passenger's side gear head then has another metal tube that runs to the driver's side wiper gear head.

If you've got the wiper motor, gear heads, and tubes, then the next question is: is the motor wired up?

The wiper motor has a connector with (if I remember correctly) five terminals. I ended up simply soldering wires to the terminals and improvising another connector. If you have the CR wiring harness, I'd guess that the harness would terminate in the correct connector for the wiper motor.

Take a look and let us know what you find.

I'll check at home tonight (might be tomorrow 'till I get around to it), but if you still need one I think I may have one of the wiring connectors for the motor that I ordered but never used. Send me an e-mail with your home address and I can just mail it to you if I can find it. At least someone can get a use out of it.

I hand-made a custom wood dash and put the glove box too close to the right side so I couldn't get the wiper motor to fit. My windshield wipers are now just there for decoration . But I figure if I'm in anything more than a drizzle, rain coming from the front is the least of my worries .
