Default What's up with CRII?????

Has anybody heard anything current? I have tried a couple times recently to reach them by phone and left a message both times and still no call back. I am looking for the aluminum cone shaped spacers for the rear coilovers, I need two. I believe they are made up specifically for CRII and not availible from Pro Shock. Any thoughts? Thanks.

John

John,
I can't offer any help with your shock problem but I can say that Bill Scott sent me a PM on CR II's forum assuring me that my parts should be shipped soon. Whatever soon is. At least I heard something.

I had posted to the CRII forum here and at their own forum looking for the fuel spillage well that gets glassed into the rear fender and Bill answered me back. So they are there and some things are finding there way out.

Some kind of legal issue there being 'forced' to deal with, NOT their fault from what I gather. The lawyers have pretty well shut them up from talking about it. I'm confident they will figure it out and get through this ordeal in time. There very short handed at this time I understand.

I heard that Terry at Great Lakes Roadsters is trying to get the backing together to buy CR II. The large part of his business it seems is building the Sebring MX/Saxon.

Hostile would be from the original owner and hostile that would be! Terry, is a great guy, know him when he first started building CR's. If Don has to sell then Terry would be my first choice, besides me of course but I already, unfortunately turned that down-I'm to old. Terry, I hope this rumor is true, if Don does sell I hope you're on top of the list! If I can help now or in the future all you have to do is call me! Tell the Mrs. I said hello and that I know you can do it! At least we're in the same State.
