Gas40. Sent you an e-mail.

Yes you can put the hood hinge on before you put the body on.

Gas40,
Why don't you givre me a call @ 231-869-4608 (EST)? I'll give you a few more hints and walk you through it-not difficult but if you have all the parts in front of you and no manual It could be a little daunting.

Gas40:

I have the assembly manual for a CR I. There are two pages on installing the hinged hood in the Final Body Assembly Section 19, page 6-18 & 6-19, but not a great deal of explanation, includes a parts list.

Send me a PM with your N & A, I will copy and mail to you

Will also include any other appropriate pages such as the Hood Hinge Sub-Assembly, page 2-27, with parts list, the inside hood release cable/latch has been installed or ?

DV: Do you recall if someone was reproducing the CR Assembly Manual or Don was converting to a CD ?

Don, et.al.,
I was going to re-write the manual almost five years ago and try to bring it up to date. That's when I made the bigget mistake of two life times and sold my company, (Classics by Elite, Inc.) to obviously the wrong guy. I was forced to stop all work and contact until just recently, depending on what Don does and if he still wants, I will re-write the manual from page 1.

CD: I had heard talk but never saw any progress or updates-sorry.
