Flatred,

I have the AR Torque Thrust. No problems. I don't know if that helps answer your question. I have heard others say the Yokohama avids were discontinued but for the money was a great tire, just not availible.

Just bought a set of TeamIII wheels. I was unable due to backspace requirements to use knock-offs so bolt on wheels were my only choice. I received my wheels within two weeks and couldn't be happier with the wheels or the service from Jin and Scott. When I explained my situation with the corvette suspension I received a return call from Scott who stayed on the line with me as I removed a front wheel and made caliper measurements. After this he was able to give me another 1/4" of backspace. The wheels came with lugs, polished spinners, and lug nut covers.

Bob at Vintage hooked me up also. Great guy to deal with. He ordered my American Racing wheels with custom backspacing and then had the centers powder coated black. I then found some black lug nuts and its hard to tell they are not spinners.

Well..... DV and I are waiting for winter to break so he can get the paint finished. The car will be a Ford deep blue pearl clearcoat with Ford wimbledon white strips. The blue is the same color code as my F150.

Here's the firewall in the blue... (and DV napping again under the car )

and here's the truck the color is coming from...

Flatred,
Click on the camera icon under my name. That should take you into my gallery of pics.

If I didn't have the wheels on the car already I would look into some knock offs. I like the wing nut look.

More than likely it's 5X4.5.

Thanks to both of you for your help. I have 4.25, and I think that was standard on mustang II. I did not see that American racing wheel makes the 427c in that bolt pattern. Looks like an axel change for the rears unless anyone has any suggestions.

Thanks again
Phil

Phil,
A good machine shop can rdrill those - not recmmendd for any racing venues, or SVO sells a package of new 5 lug axels and discs/drums.
