Jim,
No problem, it shouldn't take you three days to complete and re-assemble when you are ready. If you want, I'll (loan) send you the tool to take off and reassemble the parts. The knob on th side can be cut off with a hacksaw too. Hate to se a guy buy a bunch of tools for a one time small job.
