Thats a good one, never heard of that award. I got "Best Rumble" with my Cobra minus the sidepipes and just running "shorties" at the collector.
Next year they changed the rules, GOT to have mufflers. Makes sense, I did feel kinda bad about winning. But an uncorked FE does have a dynamite sound.
Yes my back is slowly getting better. They released me from my body brace on Wednesday so I can now get behind the wheel as long as I am careful.
To be honest I was dissapointed in the showing this year. There were only a few cars I found interesting. A lot of newer cars that people have thrown a few add-ons on. Some totally stock cars and a handful of older muscle cars and older trucks.
The police department hands out the award I won after a team of police officers goes around and judges the cars. They came by my car like 3 times. I guess it was down to me and 2008 Shelby Mustang Cobra. I think the look of my motor put it over the top...
I also had a guy ask me if I would help him build his cobra he is about to start. Made me feel good he liked my car so much.
Car shows are funny. You get the people that really like your car and complement you and then you get the guys that as soon as they find out it's not an original they insult you and move on. I had a couple of the latter yesterday. Well I have some words for them, that I won't publish.
