Default looking for help making up my mind

Hi, I'm new to this. I found a car that really like, but would like some help in wheather this is a well built kit. It is a 289 FIA Cobra biult by Unique Motorcars. I like the looks of the car as it is more true to form. Do they biuld a good car?

Unique builds an excellent kit, however, if you are looking at a completed car, might I suggest you post some pictures and a detailed description of the build if you are asking about a specific car.

Sincerely,

Bill S.

to answer your question of "do they build a good car?" yes
that being said it also depends on weather or not Unique actually
built the car or did someone else build it ???
if this car has the look and features you are looking for in a
replica then by all means check it out carefully and ask a lot
of questions as to who built it who maintained it and how it was used.
if the car has been sitting for some time and not maintained then it will
need some TLC to get the brakes, hoses, and fluids replaced and maybe
a new set of tires.......
if it has been driven on a regular basis then most of that stuff will
be ok for regular use if you keep an eye on it........
if the car has been run hard or raced in any form then you will want to
go over it with a fine tooth comb and check for leaks and cracks
and worn parts.
all in all you will want to check it out and see if it is what you really want
to get into and keep in mind your skills or abillity to maintain it yourself.
good luck and keep us posted on what you find............
and most important.......price......is it within your comfort zone.....

Default looking for 289FIA

Thank you very much for the quick replies. the car does check out both machanically and the body is in ex. condition.Paint is great, no marks or cracks in paint, interior, leather is in ex condition as well. As far as I can tell it's had two owners. One of me biggest concerns was Titling it in Texas, but I saw the title and it reads 1964 Ford Cobra, so should be no problem. The only pics. were on E-bay and I dodn't know how to transfer them. Once again thanks, I really look forward to being a long time member.
