Default new guy in New Jersey

Ive been reading this forum for a while, always been passionate about Ac Cobras since I can remember, now that Im old ( well we'll just say middle aged...), I'm longing to actually make the dream come true and would like to find a used clean straight no issues replica Cobra in the New Jersey area. If any members are from from NJ and would like to share some wisdom and steer me in the right direction(s) and avoid me bad routes, I'm all ears!
long live the snake.

Couple of items, where in NJ are you from, and what is your realistic budget for a cobra?

We meet at the Chesterhills Diner, RT206 in Chester, NJ once a month for Sunday breakfast, I suggest you watch for the post and show up. You'll be welcomed with open arms by an eclectic bunch of like minded individuals.

hi Bill, thanks for the reply, Im in Northearn NJ, where all the ugly highways intersect, far from the pretty back roads, I would love to show up at one of your breakfast gathering and introduce myself, will be on the lookout for your posts. my budget for a Used, all sorted out, replica is @ $25,000, 289 or 427 , ford powered no chevy small blocks of course, just a used good build very well sorted out, literally turn key +, hopefully already nj titled and registered. I have seen the going prices here and there, and that seems to be the high end of crappy replicas and the low end of some good ones. I'm obviously looking for a good one

mrmustang, I bought my superformance from Vulcan Motors there in Chester. My son works for them. You ever hear of them?

Welcome, Cobranj. I used to live in Bergen County (Ridgewood to be exact). I've looked at some cars online as well (tried cobracountry?) and you might find something there although probably not in the nj area... but who knows. You're shooting at the low end me thinks but good luck in the search. I might have got the last Super sold out of there!

Welcome to my world, I just purchased a snake from California after searching all over found what I really wanted. You need to keep your $$ in the pocket, the prices are high but if you make sensible offers it pays.

Then get CARCHEX to do an inspection for you which includes a test drive (this is in the event you are buying long distance) it will cost you about $200 but it is worth it. Don"t rush your purchase, gor to "Cobras for sale on line ", Hemmings is also a good source, also try Cobra Country.
Good luck and as you said "Long live the Snake!!" Hsssssssssssssssssssss
