Now building a UK RamSC with scratch built IRS etc for mainly racing and some road use. The Almac is a great kit and the guys there did a good job getting the body shape from photos. The Ram car is a lot more like an original with much narrower radiator opening and tailights are 4" closer together which gives the rear guards more shape and curve, but having imported this body I have had to get a major twist out of it and other issues which have resulted in practically years of work, good luck with your mission!
G'day Ant,

Two Almacs and a Ram! Mate - good on ya! I've admired Almacs for a long time - somewhere I still have the article for the one reviewed in Kitcar. I've got the front wing from a crashed one that I got from a mate who worked a summer with them about 18 years ago...can't bring myself to chuck it out. Thanks for the support - hopefully I am not being too ambitious...

Scratch the itch or was there an itch to scratch?

And Russel Crowe is okay by us ( the actor, not Craig's brother-in-law).

Cheers Trularin...it's a scratchy itch that's scratchy...

Welcome to the forum. It might worth considering a holiday over to Australia when the Nationals are on to see some more cars.
Cheers Zedn, go on admit it...you're jealous of our sheep....

When are the Nats on? Sounds like a great idea!

Huge rivalry at home, best of mates overseas, right lads?
Mates with an Aussie? Maaate! There's a great vid on You Tube about the day Aussie invaded NZ produced for an advertising competition...

Cheers SwiftDB4. Burt Munro, Bruce McLaren, John Ohlsen, Bob Wallace, and the late great John Britten.

Mate if I can get within 10% of those guys I'll be very, very, happy

It seemed to be a great time for Kiwi's in motor racing. There's a doco called 'Trio at the Top', which is about Mclaren, Hulme, and Amon. Inspirational!

Nats are in at Goulburn Wakefield Park in October. Keep an eye on the club cobra Australian forum and you will see the banter start up a few months before an event.
