Default Insurance help needed

Hi, I'm going to be buying a Superformance Cobra with a Roush 402R motor in May of this year. The Cobra is titled in AZ and I will also title it in AZ. I am a Canadian living in Calgary AB and spend approx 5 months in AZ. The car will stay in AZ, in a garage, and in a gated community.

Do you know who I could get a quote from for insurance?

Thanks

Jim

Jim,

First off welcome to the forum and congratulations on your soon to be acquired Superformance

For insurance recommendations, there are lots of recent threads to look at, here is one with lots of good suggestions ...

Who you got for insurance?

I am just taking delivery of a Cobra myself and have insured it with Robbin Terry at Midwest Classic Insurance. Very easy to work with and he was able to find coverage to fit me needs.

Shop around, there are a lot of good choices.

Be sure to post some pictures of your car when you get it!

- Tim

Default just remember

Every classic car insurance company I contacted that people listed here had severe restrictions on how much/where you can drive. I stayed with State Farm. Expensive, but I can drive it anywhere, not just to car shows.

The Barrett Jackson is a branded Chartis "Private Client Group" policy. They also insure yachts and airplanes. I got my Cobra and Mustang covered with them before the BJ branding happened and when they were still part of AIG.
