Default Hello frome the South Carolina Coast!!

Hello to all! My name is Tuck Rion, I live near Myrtle Beach,SC. I recently came into possesion of a Cobra kit that was originally purchased in 1992 and never completed. It appears to be a Classic Motor Carriages kit. Everything seems to be with the kit except for the roll bar. I plan on getting started on the build sometimes this month. I don't want to let the cat out of the bag just yet but this build may be considered by some to be some what sacreligious but I hope not. Anyway, glad to be here.

Tuck

Exclamation

Do some searches here on Classic Motor Carriages, CMC, and Street Beasts, as that might be helpful for you as you proceed.

Good Luck...

Tuck: Good Luck! I am about finished with my 3 year plus, build of a Street Beasts cobra. I know CMC's could be a little different in the "problems" you find, but they ALL have the same problems.

There are enough CMC and SB owners here to say "been there, done that" and may be able to save you time and money, before you get too deep. A CMC or Street Beasts looks as good as the others, when finished. It's just all the "frustration" of building it, that is painful. I have plenty of pictures in my gallery photos and a couple of videos on youtube for R2D56. One of the engine running and one of the body shop installing the body. I have made mine the "best" of everything I could do. I have surely "learned some expensive lessons" and will be glad to share them.
