Cobra Manufacturer

Just bought an unfinished cobra that has been sitting in a garage for over 25 years. I am trying to find out who made it. The only number I can find on the frame is near the engine block. Stamped into the frame is NF 975.
The guy thinks it might be a Shell Valley, but he is not sure. This would help me find the additional parts I need.
