New to forum... Seeking local owners in upstate area of South Carolina

Hello all, I'm new to the forum and have had a long desire to build a Cobra. From the first time a neighbor drove into my cul-de-sac with one rumbling and we all piled into the street to drool over it. In fact, it's extremely high on my bucket list. I'm just beginning my research of kit manufacturers, and engine options. Recently purchased a build book just to start the process in my mind.

Anyway, I live in Anderson, South Carolina (NE upstate corner) and would really like to meet some local owners to the area. It would help me with research and pointers to be aware of, plus, I would really like to look some Cobras over in person.
