Default New owner

Hi everyone, I'm the new owner of a Ted Taormina build Superformance Cobra. It's got the big block 521 with Tremec 5-spd, painted McLaren Volcano Orange with black stripes, and rolls on Goodyear billboards. Ever since seeing the Cobras win international GT races in the '60s I've been looking for an opportunity to own one, and now I cannot get the grin off my face!

Tried to upload a photo, but I keep getting a fail message, even tho the photo size is under the limit.

Gary
Congrats on your new toy. The grin is always a plus since it makes people wonder what you've been up to.
You're in an a pretty good area for Cobras given the weather and availability of good roads. Lots of cars in sunny California so you shouldn't have any problem hooking up with other grinning people.
Welcome to the madness.

Gary, welcome aboard. I am sure many, many days will be spent by you admiring this beauty, but hey, where is she and what does she looks like?

The Superformance brand promises and delivers, always, high quality of build and finish. You will not go wrong with your purchase but please post pictures for us to admire.

Again congratulations.

Juan

Thanks Juan!

>>please post pictures<<

Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I keep getting "upload failed" messages. I reduced the size of the photo to 31.7k, well under the size limit, but it just won't upload.

Congrats on getting your car and hope that you enjoy it as much as I do mine. I hope that you can post photos soon that include shots of the cockpit and engine. I would also like to hear your impressions of the first drive. Please look for postings on CC regarding drives/get togethers with the Bay Area CC. Welcome to the Club!

Anyone else having upload problems? Any tips on why I'm getting the fail message? I'd love to post up some photos.

Good for you Gary. I know the car very well. I was there when Ted bought it and watched him put it together.

That is so cool! You know more about the car than I do, I just loved it when I first saw it a few weeks ago. PM sent with contact info, we should get together for a drive!
