Default New Daytona owner

Last May I became the third owner of a Factory Five Type 65 Coupe. What a blast!

Ford 302 V8 estimated 400 hp. Type R valve covers, Weiand intake, FAST EZ EFI, Elgin E1017P cam, AFR165 aluminum heads, titanium header wrap. Canton aluminum coolant overflow tank with sight gauge. Leather seats. Autometer instruments. AC & heat. Wilwood brakes, FR500 wheels with Cobra hub emblem. Ron Francis wiring.

The Daytona's stablemate is a 1930 Ford Model A Deluxe Coupe that my wife used as a daily driver during her high school years. It was professionally restored by Al Prueitt & Sons of Glen Rock, PA from 1985 to 1988 while we were posted overseas. Storage in a rental unit would have cost me $125 per month. The Prueitts only charged me labor and materials, not that the sum was inconsequential, but it proved a better investment.
