Thumbs up Pretoria South Africa

New to Club Cobra. My new old car dating to 1998 is at last nearing completion. The hardware was manufactured by Les Hayden, he who founded Shamrock Cobra in Cape Town South Africa. I believe he sold nearly 500 Shamrock cars before selling the business on. He did put some development work into the Hayden car before manufacturing commenced. The Hayden uses jag bits but the frame is a space frame.

Nice to see another South African on the Cobra sites. A young man and his wife are just finishing their build of a Shamrock over on our site and they have did a great job. You have some beautiful cars and country down there. And I am jealous of your weather as it seems you have great weather all year except for the occasional rains. Welcome.

Ron
