Default New Member in WA with Everett-Morrison

Brought the ‘new’ Cobra home, have enjoyed the forums for months. Had 60's Mustangs, yet Cobras remained my passion, 3+ decades later!

Wife is very supportive as an activity to ride into the sunset. Not much has changed, only small things, like needing a house w/garage for a post lift!

Our EM is an early gen 1985 w/460, Toploader & Jag IRS. The car found me, needed me as bad as I needed it! Like to be a bit different and take on a challenge, knowing it generally costs me! Like to continually improve, ample opportunity here.

Even more intrepid as I’m not overly mechanical, yet with kids mostly gone mechanical items are showing up more frequently already! Will be relying a lot on outside advice and at times outside trades to assist, no doubt.

Have wheels polished, next…tire/suspension considerations.

Lots to learn…look forward to meeting other Cobra owners and enthusiasts and sharing on Cobra Club!

Brent (and Joan!)

Welcome and congrats on your new addition to the family!
Make sure to connect with the local Cobra Club and make a point of going to the Cars and Coffee at Redmond Town Center some time.

Thanks for the welcomes!

Have not been successful yet adding photos directly to a post. I understand I can likely do a live or text link to an outside site, have not done that yet.

Was able to post a couple Albums, "Bringing the Cobra Home" and "Just cruising & Polished Wheels" under my profile. I believe you can see those photos by clicking on my profile name (EM-0785) link. Hope you enjoy!

I'll also continue working on my photo techniques here! Thanks, Brent

Thanks for the welcome dblbarrel, love your rainy profile pic, feels like home!

By the way Bernica, I'll be watching for the Cars and Coffee at Redmond Town Center, thanks for the tip!

I'm slowly adding more photos to the albums under my profile name. Just added a couple of my favorites, the interior and the rear qtr (good shot of the pipes I just had ceramic coated!). Will add an engine shot next.

I'm sure it's a bit painful accessing photos there for now for viewing/expanding, sorry for that.

Brent

Welcome. Redmond Town Center should begin in April dependent upon the weather. Griots have an early Saturday am car show the first Saturday of the month also. Looks like you are not far from me either.

Excellent, these sound like great, easy events! Rjw289 I had previously seen some of your posts and yes, I too believe we live fairly close. Look forward to seeing you at some of these events. Have admired your car, big fan of the 289 FIA's, was on my list as well!

My brother and I made it by the local XXX Rootbeer Drive-In to get a burger and check out the vintage auto memorabilia, just posted a photo in my album if interested!

Thanks, Brent

Thanks Ron, you're the best! You'd hardly know we're in Washington on that beautiful sunny day (oh, maybe the knit caps give it away)!

Hi Brent- nice car. XXX Root Beer has car shows every Sunday throughout the Summer. You can see which ones on their website. Thanks also for the compliments.
