Default SPF MkIII Roadster repainted in Azzuro California

Stumbled across this Superformance MkIII Roadster before Christmas. An offer too good to refuse! Needed a new coat of paint, but otherwise a very tidy 5K mile car, complete with a Kieth Craft 331. Paint job is now complete and just needs a few small detail items to complete. Great car. Can't wait for spring!

Very nice! I like it with the under car exhaust.

Great looking car. Curious, why did a 5000 mile car need paint ?

Mostly because I wanted an Azzuro California sports car! If you know the origin of the color, you will see why I had few alternatives...

Appreciate your perspective. I prefer my cars a bit understated. Elegant GTs primarily. That's probably why I also like open E-types, mid-year Corvette convertibles in white, any Aston Martin, front engine Ferraris...and a few others...

I know where you're coming from. My 289FIA will be painted "AZZURRO MET. FER 505/C"
I like your combination of paint, no side pipes and no stripes.

Cheers,
Glen

BTW - if I was building a car from the ground up, it would probably be an FIA car. I always liked them for their rarity as well as overall style. Not sure if I would do a leaf spring version or coil-over hybrid. 331 stroker for sure. And you know what color... :-)
