Default Future Cobra builder

Hello All,
Name is Mark and I am a car addict. Right now the addiction is early Broncos my next will be a Cobra. As I near completion of a couple of Broncos I realize I don't want to do another one though I have several project EBs in storage. I am in research stage on Cobra kits. Plan is to finish two Broncos, keep one and sell the other to finance this new journey. I've done enough modifications in my present endeavor so I'm looking forward to doing a straight up project and as little "improvements" as possible. 289 FIA kit with 302 and 5 speed. Looking forward to learning about this new hobby and making some online friends. Cheers!

Welcome to the hobby. You might want to think about what you want to do with your Cobra and share. Just something to cruise around in. Trailer queen to car shows. Take to auto-cross events. Racing of some type. You get the idea.

Budget size verses skills. The more complete the Kit, the more it costs, and the less you do. Different manufactures offer way different packages and ease to build.

How original do you want the car to be. Is that important to you. Or are you interested in improved performance over the originals.

Seems that you like to build cars, enjoy them, then sell. If this is the case, I'd research resale stats & the features attributed to fast sales. In this case I'd suggest you buy used & save some money. & have a chance at recouping what you've invested.
A few of us around here bought/built our cars as that one dream car they might only once be able to afford & keep for enjoyment, for an extended time. In this case, I'd suggest you build it exactly how you want it.
There are a number of FIA mfgs out there these days. This should make your life more difficult . Have a look at Factory 5, Unique & ERA. Kirkham, if you can stretch your budget that far & superformance for a roller that just needs a motor/trans.
PY close attention to what you get for the money & if accuracy or budget is more your game.
