Default A Frenchie on this forum

Hi everyone!

I live in France, in Normandy, I am an old grumpy man (-dixit my daughters) and I just got my first Cobra, after owning every possible cars from Aston Martin to Ferrari and Porsche
I am now 71 and wanted someting special to drive around before it is too late for me( I mean before I became too old...).
I purchased a Monza red Superformance street model imported from the States last July.
I went to this forum because it is the only one with members knowing their cars ( French forums are hopeless...)
Having a Superformance MKlll I have already found several useful informations on the discussions part dedicated to that marque
I am retired from the US Embassy in Paris and I now live in Normandy.
I also own an Austin Healey 100/6 two seater (BN6) that I am considering selling now that I have my Cobra!
Cheers from Normandy

Congratulations, Normand! Welcome to the club. We have another member from France here who races her Keith Craft powered big block Cobra. She hasn't posted for a little while, but she's a pilot and her forum name is Queenie. Post some pictures and don't hesitate to share your adventures. You obviously know high performance cars, but still be careful as you get to know your Cobra!

As Buzz said, welcome and it sounds as if you have quite a car there. And the list that you have had is impressive.Have fun and get used to the Cobra before you get to wild with it.

Correction - her forum name is Bourret. Queenie is her nickname.
