I read through FAQ, searched, and still can't find info/rules on For Sale Forum...

How many posts do you need to post something for sale?

This is all I can find in the forum rules that relates to classified ads:

Thanks for the reply. Yes, when I try to post a for sale ad, even though I'm already logged into the forum, when I click post an ad it prompts me for my forum username and password again, and when I enter it is says invalid and logs me out of forum, then I have to log back into forum again.

I've never run into that - it seems quite bizarre. You might try sending an email to the Brent Mills (admin) cobradude28@yahoo.com

Update... its been 24 hours and no response from Brent yet, I also cleared cookies and created a different account for diagnostic purposes to test if it was just a corrupt register issue, but the identical error happens.

I had that problem on a smart phone, but I can't remember which phone I was using or which browser I was using on that phone. I'd try to use a different browser and see if that clears your problems up.

Thanks for the tip, I'm using Firefox on an up-to-date recently tuned PC, but maybe I'll try something else tomorrow.

when you log in always click remember me or it will log you out indiscriminately

especially going to the for sale section, at least it does for me,
