naaa, Dont listen to Tony.
Go with a custom engine builder not the Big Box guys
Brent would be my first choice, your car is not in paint or assembled yet, there's no big rush

1985,
I'm up here in the tail end of no where.. Cody WY.. Supposedly there is a fellow in town that has an original 1964 289 Cobra.. I might try to link up with him and see what, if any, clubs might be local.
