Take your time. I shopped for four years before I pulled the trigger. There are quite a few Cobra owners in the area and, on a nice day you can see their cars at the local shows. Join Tidewater Cobra Club at: autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/tidewatercobraclub/ for the local news. Go to the Replicar Nationals in Carlisle at least once. And, most important, hang around this site. Thanks for all the info guy's. I know that while in the research phase I need to get my garage in order. I have hopped up so many prior projects (headers, cams swaps, etc.) but never have attempted a full build before. I am ordering the FFR build manual to see what I am looking at for needed tools and stuff. I am sure that most of the kits would require about the same stuff. I am tool deficient after getting some stuff stolen a few years ago at a Auto-X event. Wifes gonna love that.

I don't have 4 years to wait to do research though. My son is 14 and I want to start getting him involved in a hobby I love so much before he is gone.

I spoke with a few guy's this year at Jenroes about their cars and that just really was the trigger for me to sell the Goat and start saving some money.

I will check out the Tidewater club.
