I thought it was interesting, 4 into 2 into 1 probably sounds pretty good, he probably runs at lots of places with db restrictions. If I had his car and it was on the side, wouldn't bother me a bit.....

I got the car home Saturday, cleaned it up and parked it. have my paperwork in the mail to the state for a title. Hopefully I'll have a tag in 2 weeks. Still working on my Cobra, trying to get ready to sell. I'll have some little stuff to do to the coupe as well, and then get some miles on it and get it properly sorted. Nothing new to post pics of. Maybe I'll do a walk around video and post that for anyone interested in a closer look at the JBL Coupe. Is anyone out there interesed, besides Mark???
Was thinking about taking it to the Fun Ford Weekend in St. Louis on the 20,21st. Anyone else going?

Had a chance to take a little ride in Mats Coupe this weekend....nice ride and what an engine! Great engine build Brent. You should be proud.

I'm sorry I'll have to drive it to verify that, and I'm sorry because I never know what will happen.

I think you should Mark and drive it hard, you know around 7500 RPMS or so! I think it can take it.

hahaha, you're trying to get me into trouble! Also, didn't somebody borrow somebody's roadster and do something similar, put it through a ditch, fence and whatever else? They said it was a pita to straighten the frame.

Not really, the person that I have doing some of my fabrication work had surgery just before Christmas for a torn ACL. I dont' expect he will be doing much for a few more weeks.
Thanks for asking.

Here's a link to my trip to Hallett last weekend. Car is running great, still trying to tune suspension, brakes etc to get around quicker. No real fast laps here, but video and sound is decent.

Matt,
Looks and sounds good. I noticed that you were working the brake bias a bit. I would recommend that you set it (after everything is hot) by adjusting toward the rear until they definitively lock first. And then adjust toward the front just a little bit. Just enough that the rears do not seem to lock first. That will give a good basis for fine tuning the settings for entry braking. (Remember this chassis requires a bunch more rear bias than you would think looking at the bar)
I also really like your old school "G" meter just in front of your right knee. One could easily calculate G forces (Up to one G ) by the angle of the hanging key. Casual observation even demonstrates the G circle nicely.
Enjoy that thing. It is after all, the only comp chassis Coupe in existence. (And there will be no more)

That is getting me excited to get my JBL roadster going! I have the coyote 5.0L fitted in but not motor mounts fabricated, the front suspension in place and some of the brake and fuel systems set up. It really is unfortunate that I can't get parts that I am owed from Goins. If anybody knows what is up with Larry it would be nice to know. I haven't heard from him in a month and a half and I am missing $1k+ of parts, some of them critical (rear suspension and knuckles). Not really looking to lawyer up but it is seeming like it is going that way.
Anyway, sorry to be a downer. Your car is amazing and I hope to have similar videos some day!
