Progress by leaps and bounds since installing the body Sunday. Front and rear quick jacks installed. Roll bar hoop installed. Body location complete, holes drilled and tapped, and fasteners installed. Windshield loosely installed.

Tomorrow I’ll order new Mk4 door hinges to modify for the 289 doors from Bruce and tackle the hood hinge design.

Sorry Bill, but I don't see the point of your exercise.

How much work involved now if you have trouble with one carb?

Trouble? As in having to remove one? Should be easy. Just a bunch of screws hold the box in place. Maybe 5 minutes to remove

I mean you would need to remove the plate and all of the ram tubes to remove one carburetor if you had say a bad needle and seat, is that correct?
