The night is cool so had a chance to work on the car. Installed the shoulder harness roll bar mount and roll bar bezels. Down to three items to do and then she’s finished. They are

Fabricate a new closure panel for the cockpit bulkhead (lost the original)
Wire the door number lights
Redo the safety wire on the wheels and check engagement

Bill, are the door race lights Massey Ferguson dash lights?

No. They’re early Ford license plate lights

I know the feeling. But measure three times and drill once. I say go for it!

Some Fords had those lights too?
I know they are Lucas units, used on MGA dash panels, and also some Massey Ferguson tractor dashes (I spent maybe a thousand hours behind the wheel of an MF ....some years ago now).
