Our 460,5 speed with over drive has a 3.73 gear it works for me, quite a bit of aggressive driving also a great cruiser. You cannot beat the painless wiring strongly suggest drawing up your own diagram as you go along for future reference. You might not like the power steering time will tell

Yeah I am not really sure which direction to take with the power steering yet. I was trying to find information last night on using a hydroboost setup. I've seen some setup but they are for trucks. If I could incorporate a hydroboost setup, then I may change my mind.

I really like the feel and power of the brakes. They seem much more firm and easier to modulate than the vacuum-assisted brakes they replaced.

The l'il ole wagon has a 557 - a bored & stroked 460

What PS pump did you use? I would imagine this is a custom bracket.

It's almost as much fun as the Cobra ;-) Set up for road racing.

I used a stock Mustang (199? vintage) pump. It works fine.

Possibly your crank-mounted pump would be OK.

I do use a small oil cooler in the return line from the rack to the pump. It was necessary due to the track use. For street you might not need it, but I'd recommend one just to be safe.
