Thanks Bob, that means a lot... You know Bob, the thing about F5 cars is the fact that you build them yourselves. Like everything else, some people like clean cars, nice houses with very manicured yards, some could give a flip abut either. SO, goes with the F5 builds. You see some with donor parts which is what I did on my first build and some use new parts all over which is what I am doing with this build. Bottom line is that you are in the game and having fun.
This is the MK4 with the better body lines. I hope it all works out.

On the raised ports on the BT heads.. well its only .400 as I finally relized and I can make it work. I don't think anybody will notice if I have to grind .400 out of the body for exhaust out. We'll see when I get there

Al, funny you should mention that. The reason I went with a scratch build instead of a FF5 (my choice at the time) was because of the body issues. If I had waited long enough for the Mark4 body to come out, I would have been on the road sooner and much easier- plus probably much cheaper. I really like the Mark 4 bodies and the changes they made to the roadsters to make them more "original" looking.

Keep posting updates, this should be a killer build.

Bob
