First, sorry about your back trouble.
Economy soft, less people have that kind of disposable income.
IMHO, it will cost $50K to build most any Cobra kit, once you add in the engine/trans and miscellaneous parts that don't come with the kit. I bought a used Contemporary and I am very happy with the car. I knew I wanted used, as I felt like that would give me the most value under current economic conditions. The trouble from a consumer's standpoint is that you will find something wrong with most of them, in other words it is hard to find exactly the car "you" are looking for. I know, I looked at more than twenty cars before I found the "right" one.
As mentioned, try some of the other outlets and best of luck. And be pateient, the right buyer will come your way.
