Is 500 HP "To the rear wheels" after the differential (and transmission)?
Or is this really "To the transmission"?
Can we clarify where exactly, or better yet, how this value was determined?
If you have dyno results, what were the peak numbers and at what RPM's. 500 seems high, even at the flywheel for a true 427, even one with 2x4 induction. Certainly possible if engine is built for high-RPM range use, but you state engine has never been over 5000 rpm. Sorry if I'm sounding persnickety, but it just seems like a lot of dancing around about what exactly is the HP of the engine.
