Description
This is an absolute beauty, so why waste your time with a kit cars with plastic panels and questionable build quality, when you can have this authentic Contemporary Classics AC Cobra. THIS IS THE MARK IV REPLICA - CLONE OF THE ORIGINAL!!! This is an AC COBRA hand built by Bob Norwood in 1994 by Norwood Autocraft Inc. Dallas, Texas. After the vehicle was re-engineered to meet the stringent vehicle legislations of the EED and North America. As the original manufactures, Contemporary Classics use the original tooling in the construction of this vehicle. Some 2,000 highly skilled man hours are expended in the manufacture of each vehicle, all traditionally HAND BUILT. This is an awesome sports car, that has been excellently maintained and is in superb condition. AC COBRA two seat, open-top sports car of tubular steel 'ladder' spaceframe construction. Main tubes of 4 inch diameter reinforced cold drawn tube. Stainless steel tubular bumpers. Fibergalss bodywork. Seats, fascia and door panels trimmed in finest English leather. Deep pile wool carpeting bound in leather. Convertible top and tonneau cover in Everflex. Lockable fuel filler cap. If imitation is the form of flattery, the AC Cobra conceived by ace racer and car builder Carroll Shelby has been flattered with the greatest sincerity imaginable. This replica, the Contemporary Classics Mark IV, is generally considered the most faithful reproduction.

Give Bob Norwood a call he can answer all of your tech questions sine he built it. His web site is www.bobnorwood.com and his number is 972-831-8111.

It always amazes me to see a car that's nearly 10 years old that only has 674 miles on it...

The reason it has low miles is that he never drove it. Spent about $90,000 building it and just never drove it. Dallas Texas is not the most fun place to apprutiate this type of auto.

The owner is an eccentric individual. He owns several cars that are sitting at Bob Norwoods shop collecting dust.

Please before posting connotative or disparaging remarks contact me for further details and info.

Thank You,
Craig

Flyguy

I do NOT mean to disparage the car. But this is an open forum.

And as far as Dallas not being a a good place to "apprutiate" a cobra, I live in DFW and I drive mine all the time.

I believe its a fair question to ask, since a car that has set for 10 years, in my opinion, and its only MY opinion, is undrivable and in need of some serious work.

I'm confused.

The description above says that it has fiberglass body, yet the Ebay description states that it is hand rolled aluminum.

What gives????

Flyguy,

I don't know nearly enough to evaluate this car, but thank you for the invitation. Here in the Dallas area I believe Jay Nordstrom does cobra appraisals. His ID here at club cobra is jayscobras I think.

Good luck.
