Shelby Cobra CSX number for sale
Serial number CSX 4814 is for sale. The car is pre-production, so you can choose your own colors, options, etc. $15,000 to us to reimburse our investment ( our down payment to Shelby and the percentage cut of sale we paid to dealer). Balance to be paid to Shelby at start of production. Base price of this car is at the March, 2004 price of $42,500.

I know there is plenty of chatter throughout this site, but when can one REALLY expect to receive delivery on this CSX 4814? Keeping in mind that it's almost Aug 1, 2005 now.
Any educated guesses or estimates?

jdog, are you still without a number?? Seems you had a number back in 2004 didn't you? Maybe you could work out a trade for 4814 .

I'll bite- what is this percentage cut to dealer that you are talking about. Is the car $42,500 plus options to be selected and whoever would reimburse you the $15,000 that you put down?
