BackDraft Racing #147 For sale
BackDraft Racing #147 For Sale. 4500 miles Sterling Grey w/silver stripes 418 Stoker, Tremmec TKO 5 spd. Registered in Florida as a 65' Roadster. This car is amazing! Estimated at over 500hp. This was Backdrafts show car for the first few months of it's life. So the build is top quality and 100% done by BDR. The car subsequently has most BDR options, including; full top(perfect condition), tannaeu, 17" Fully polished halibrand style wheels, 245/45ZR17 g-force fronts, 315/35R17 Nitto drag radials rear. All tires are nearly new w/only a few miles on them. MSD ignition, canton oil pan, 19 gallon stainless fuel cell. Engine is a 351 windsor crate stroked to 418 w/ a holley 760 and a edlebrock RPM airgap intake. Suspension is all BMW w/ IRS. Ceramic coated headers. Polished quick jacks. Battery shutoff. Raydot driver mirror. #65 Rondels(meatballs). This car was used in BDR's website and in thier brochures ,it was also used in thier ad in the Dupont Registry. This car is amazing and I about fell on the floor when I first saw it. It draws a crowd everywere . I DO NOT drive this car hard and have never raced it! Reason for selling is the car spends most of it's time in my garage and a car like this deserves to be driven more. I Hate to sell it but it is time. My wife is even trying to talk me out of it! This car new would cost around $50K and you would need to go throught he breakin period w/ new. This car is ready to go and priced to sell at $41,500 OBO,eric @ 845-726-4500 EST I'll email pics

ET, you a down-hiller? I dig your GT as well as the Cobra! In one of your pics you asked which was faster; well I'd have to say that that would depend on the course! LOL I didn't think that there'd be to much DH stuff in FL. I raced a San Andreus when I lived in TX, now in south GA I ride road mostly. Just about the only game in town for cyclists.

hey Steve, Yes I am a downhiller. I am currently in NY about 20 minutes away from Diablo freeride Park, but I mostly have riden XC for the past 14 years. I most say though if you are in Georgia and haven't riden in the Ellijay area you are missing out. I don't know if you still ride Mountain bikes but if you do the cuple hour trip north for you would be well worth it. I took many trips to that area including Tsali in NC and can't wait to get back. Let me know if you still ride off road and would like any info, i'll be happy to pass it on to you. Take care,Eric

Eric, we've been thinking about going to the Ellijay area but haven't as of yet. Last fall we went to Tsali for a few days and it was great! I still ride MTB, but where I am is almost in FL. The drive to the mountains is more than just a couple of hours, which kind of sucks. But what can I say, this is where the job is. Between me, my wife and my youngest son we have 7 bikes in the house, 11 if you count frames to. You could say that we're a little into it. LOL If you know when you're going back to Tsali let me know. That would be great. BTW, your Cobra is beautifull.

Not sure about the M3 pakage, I was never sure about that and i recently inquired to Reg at BDR re: that and have not heard back yet. I am assuming not to be on the safe side, but it handles like no other car I have driven including a Porche 930(and it's much faster too boot) . i do know that the rotors are not vented. It has an open rear end (BMW, have never heard of one breaking yet). Top is black and perfect condition and it does have the side curtains(windows). It really is a great car, very reliable, and if I don't sell it for fair value it will stay in the family. thanks for the interest and the compliment, Eric

nice car
Eric,
I got to see Eric's car at a local cruise and it indeed is a knockout.
The paint job is fantastic and the interior and engine compartment are well taken care of, I spoke with Eric briefly.
Good Luck with the sale Eric!!
