Default Ever heard of Premier?

There is a local seller with an 03 Premier Cobra. I'm not familiar with the brand, is anyone else? He wants $38k, big block and that's all the details I have so far.

Thanks in advance for any info.

i went two weeks ago and looked at a Premier car. it was not put together yet. it looked like a very well thought out car. the one i looked at was set up for a 4.6L engine. i know that the company will not be shiping anything for close to a month. they stoped production for a while to retool everything. i talked to Chuck there (i think he is the chief engineer or something like that). he told me that how they were doing things before it was taking them close to a day to make a part that sold for $20.00. from what i seen they make a realy great car though. dave

Default Info on Premier

Premier is out of Kansas City. This is a link to their site: http://www.premiercobras.com/

From what I've been able to learn about them, they tend to be a little pricey as a kit. Most are sold as rollers.

Hope this helps

Paul

i have seen 3 premiers, one with a 427 fe and another with a blown 4.6 L....and the 3rd had something else, can't recall. all 3 were factory done rollers-not owner done kits. don't know who did engine installs but all 3 appeared to be put together well . bill

We met the owner and chief engr. when we were in Ohio 2 yrs. ago, at a Spring Fling; real nice guys, knowledgeable. Spent quite a bit of time going over the car and found lots to like.

Haven't seen any other that theirs, but it truly was a nice car, technically as well as cosmetically.

Do a search for "Premier" and you should turn up a good amount of info.
I have crawled all over their car and gotten more than one "good" ride in two different cars.....IMHO, it is a good one.
I dealt with Doug Taylor from the company and he went way out of his way to accomodate my questions, ride "requirements" and schedule, his guys also took my sons and WIFE for a spin, that went a long way toward the development of my Cobra project.
Try the search, it should answer most of your questions.

Good product and I understand Chuck is a very nice guy to do business with. I met them a few years ago at Run and Gun. I too crawled all over their car to see how it was constructed.

I've been to Premier's Shop and they are a great bunch of guys their. They take a lot of care and quality in making their cars. Chuck Ward, chief engineer, is a great guy to deal with. From what I can tell you, he is very helpful and seems to be a straight shooter. Feel free to give them a call at 913-321-2225
