Question WMS/Tristate Cobra boddies for FFR?

Hey guys, I read somewhere on this forum that either WMS (western motorsports Canada) had their own Cobra body for a FFR cobra? (It was either WMS or Tristate) I was curious, does anyone know if their bodies are any different than FFR bodies? As far as shape, fit.. quality wise? Greatly appreciate your time guys...

Tristates has a body for the FFR. It is lightyears ahead of the stock body. It does not have the pointy trunk deal on it. The hood hinge is awsome. The hood has a complete liner. The trunk also has hidden hinges and is lined. The edges are all rolled. It's set up for the rectangle tail lights. It also is about 3" wider at the rear allowing much wider wheels and tires.

The quality of the glass work is excellent.

Here's a finished one.

Here's some pics of my unfinished body right after delivery.

I'm very impressed with the body

Gatorac, Hey thanks for you pictures, there awsome, so are the ones in your picture gallery. Im curious, you know, I never noticed the pointed trunk thing as you mentioned.... Are Cobra's suppose to have the pointed trunk or no? I never noticed before, but I can tell your cars fine booty is a bit rounder than others, "the pointy trunk". good looking car!!!

Only FFR has the "perky butt" syndrome. Without it just aint, well, an FFR! A very pronounced tail light, some of which is seen on this body, but not as large. But also the rear sits up a little higher than others, exposing the lower part of the gas tank. The combo is the "perky butt". Not like an original, but they sell like hot cakes so I guess it can't be that bad!

The Tristates rear treatment definitely reduces how obvious the perky butt is. The rear is still the same height, just much wider and without the pointy license plate trunk. The Tristates body is light years ahead of the FFR body in quality and finish.

As for the rear end of a FFR, it's really a matter of preference. Some like perky butts, some like saggy butts. I'd say that the 'middle ground' Tristates rear end treatment is pretty darn good looking.
