Default Lone Star Classics

Hi, I am new to this forum. I am looking at several of the manufacturers of the Cobra Kits. I am located close to Lone Star Classics in Texas and was wondering if anyone could give me any feedback on their kits compared to others. I was in their shop today and they looked to be good quality to me. Obviously it would be nice to deal with a manufacturer this close to me.

Thanks,
Bruce

Check in with the locals in the Texas Cobra Club. Many members in that area and you can see cars from several companies up close.

Best thing you can do rblong is come to our monthly meetings you will get to see alot of cars side by side. Our meetings in Dallas are always the first Saturday of the month and this month its a Champs in Addison with a tour of Sam Pac's collection afterwords.

Well I hope the Lone stars are a good beginner investment, cause I bought one, thanks to some input from some of the members. 66, 428CJ - with lots of goodies. I have to wait about 2 week for delivery - boy it's gonna be a long two weeks! Once I get it I will look up the local meeting place.

Bruce:
Keep us updated on your progress. I checked out Lone Star's website over the weeekend and was impressed with their Cobar build photos and commentary.

Lone star is within 15 miles of my house, so I have been to their place sevaral times. They are no longer doing turn key builds - at least after they get rid of the one they have left. I was looking at it seriously, until the one I bought came along. They will only sell kits from now on. They will deal on the one they have left. You engine choice would be 302, 351 or 390.
