CCX comp tank test fitted
I couldn't help myself but post even though it's got dusty straps that haven't been powdercoated yet. Check out the neat-o comp style CCX tank. Other than a flat back to stay inside the rear frame crossmember it really looks the part from underneath. 
It was cracking me up how well this all came together to emulate the original. Note the original style C-channel is now utilised as a rear end tie bar. The tank straps bolt to that channel. The suspension bolt removal cones in the tank front are now spaced for a Jag rear. Original straps and hangers coming off the bumper brackets in the original style. 
Like I said it really tickled me how much CSX style stuff just bolted in like it was made for it. I'm looking forward to trying this style in a couple of other chassis' now. |
