THe single replica most like the original CSX 3000 series cars. Well built and beautiful.. most of the time. To quote a famous Cobra owner, "What would you like to know?"

THey are very well built. I've owned two and they are superior to any of the other replica cars around. THey do use the original Dana 44 rear end in the Jag IRS configuration. The market for these cars, like anything else, depends on the buyer and the seller. I passed on one for $20K and bought one for $40K because I preferred the second configuration. I've seen them sell for $65K. THey did build an FIA car. I've seen one. If it ever comes up for sale again, I'll be at the front of the line. They also built a Daytona Coupe. Don't know about the street car.

Here you go, and knowing the original builder (John McMahon) as I do and watching this cars build, I can say without a doubt this is the finest Contemporary 289FIA ever built.

My game plan is to sell both of my Cobras and buy this one, have the best of both worlds as far as I am concerned.

Check out the forum for CCX here on this site.
Interview with Peter Bayer
Tech details etc.....
ERA quality is really up to specific builder regardless of the manufacturer. Mine was a nicely built car via Morton Jaguar of Chelmsford, MA. Peter P (ERA) also used to sell me parts on occasion and he too states that they were a very well done car and his primary competition in the day. Of course ERA has had time on their side and with generational changes continue to be a top buiilder of these fine cars.
ERA, CCX, SPF, UM, CSX, KMS and others are all fine cars. Remember $ often increases as you make a car closer to OEM as RM parts start to cost more. Do your homework and buy what you can afford to enjoy.
