Hi Doug,
This is just to let you know I have just purchased all the tickets for next year's Goodwood Revival weekend for you and I, including front row seats in the startline grandstand. 
All you have to do is get better and get over to the UK next September and I'll pick up the rest from there. You and I will drive the Cobra down to Goodwood (about 150 miles) and my wife will take our caravan for us to stay in at the circuit for the weekend.
The Goodwood Revival is probably the greatest classic motorsport event anywhere in the world and I guarantee, you'll have an absolute ball.
I can't wait.

86, Incredible doesn't even scratch the surface. If I were to print the private messages of hope and encouragement that Paul sent me back in the very beginning of this journey, only then would you understand the kind of incredible person he is. I've never met Paul, but even more important than getting the opportunity to see Goodwood is the chance to have the honour (the spelling is in honour of his British heritage! ) of meeting Paul. I so look forward to that. |

All,
Can you believe this? Paul, that's so cool, you have no idea how much I'm looking forward to this. Now all I have to do is fight to make sure I'm healthy enough to make it. I will do anything in my power to be thee, you can't believe how much I want to make it there. Goodwood has always been one of the things I want to do in my life, along with a trip to Yellowstone, Bonneville and the Reno Air races. Hopefully I can keep this a wish list and not a bucket list.  Either way, it looks like the Goodwood part of the list is in good hands, and Paul, I can't thank you enough. I can't beieve that all of this is happening. Wow.

Hi Doug.
As I'm confident that you will be well for the Goodwood trip, I suggest that you think about extending your trip whilst in Europe - I will be happy to welcome you in Copenhagen... cruising in 602 
You might even consider making it a "round trip" - I'm sure some of our fellow cobra fans down Europe will take good care of you as well.
As for Goodwood - If you take care of the flight, I will pick up the rest.

HI, Henrik! I had a CC member who works in the shop in question generously offer to gather up the parts and ship them. They should be on my doorstep tomorrow! I can't thank you enough again for the parts, it'll be a huge help in getting this car up and running. As far as Goodwood, I can't wait to go. Will you be attending? Hopefully you will and Paul and I can catch up with you. This is going to be a great time, I'm really looking forward to it. All I need to do is get healthy. Your generosity is so greatly appreciated! Hope to see you at Goodwood or later in Copenhagen. One of the few advantages left of working for the airlines is free travel so getting there is no sweat.

Hi Doug,
It will be my privilege.
If anyone else wants to come over, we can make it a "family" outing.
But you'll have to pay for your own tickets though I'm afraid.
