When the car was for sale in Sept, I called the owner and I was told this body and frame were from different cars as the body that went with the frame you have was in primer with poor body work and another base kit was bought long ago and the bodies were switched so the unused frame matched the unused body. When I picked it up I got a slightly different story. He said he bought the body from Lynn Parks and was going to build a custom frame. When that didn't work out, he bought a new frame for it through Lynn again. He then ran across another unfinished car and wanted to build it with coil over front instead of the torsion bar. The he was going to put the second body with the new frame and sell that, but the second body was so rough that he didn't feel comfortable selling it with a new frame. I saw the second body and
the coil over frame he's working on. He is right the second body was very rough and would have devalued the car by thousands. So as I get it , the new body that I have was bought new from Contemporary by him. At a later date , he bought the new frame from Contemporary. I would think that at least the frame would have had some permanent numbers stamped into it.
