The owner said he had the MSO at the time, he was nice guy, answered all my questions. Congrats on the purchase as I really wanted it and when it was on Ebay I bid up to $10k.

When I picked it up I got a slightly different story. He said he bought the body from Lynn Parks and was going to build a custom frame. When that didn't work out, he bought a new frame for it through Lynn again. He then ran across another unfinished car and wanted to build it with coil over front instead of the torsion bar. The he was going to put the second body with the new frame and sell that, but the second body was so rough that he didn't feel comfortable selling it with a new frame. I saw the second body and
the coil over frame he's working on. He is right the second body was very rough and would have devalued the car by thousands. So as I get it , the new body that I have was bought new from Contemporary by him. At a later date , he bought the new frame from Contemporary. I would think that at least the frame would have had some permanent numbers stamped into it.

Your right about him being a nice guy.
