Question Ccx 1993 ?

Is there a CCX registry? I'm still working on the design for my embroidered jacket back. I'm stuck with the top design on whether it should be "CCX 1993" (that's the year it was born) or maybe Contemporary Cobra or what? I considered "Phantom CCX" but my wife says that sounds too much like a cartoon character. I'm wondering if there is a CCX 1993, I don't want to take somebody's # as my own.

I will place the arched top logo with the car underneath as center art and San Antonio Valley Ca. underneath. Any input is welcome.

Here is a picture of the embroidered car.

I tried a CCX registry at one point. Very tough to keep updated as cars pass hands fast and many voids in the #'s. Basically it turned from fun to hastle so I stopped.

Go ahead ad use it! Why not.....

Thanks Jeff. I don't suppose you have any of the old info available to see if 1993 just happens to be there? I can just see wearing the jacket and having some guy tapping me on the shoulder wanting to know why I'm wearing his car #..

If using the number, CCX first. I always refer to my car as CCX-3624. If in your shoes, I would stick with Phantom. Who cares if it sounds like a cartoon character....the "unreal" nature if these cars are one of their greatest characteristics. I say be proud of your car's individuality!

Now you've thrown a wrench into it. I thought all of the CCX cars were 3series chasis numbers.

Great point however there were some 4000 series CCX cars in the later production. As I said, use the # but I would add CCX as it is what you are refer to. There is no CCX1993

I didn't think there was Jeff. Thanks for confirming that. Remnt, If I were going to design something like you're discussing, I'd just put something like Contermporary Cobra in and arc across the top with my chasis number "CCX 3069" in a straight line on the bottom. Who knows, you may start a trend.

I think you'll find Phantom Cobra may have been used before on 4K cars. I still like it though.

Here it is. It is a jpg of an embroidery file so the threead colors would be whatever I make them. The different colors of the jpg designate color change. What do you think?
