Default No Signal Lights

Anybody have this problem? Signal lights no longer work. When I move the signal stalk, nothing. The hi-beam switch in the stalk works. The brake lights work.

The wiring schematic in the Contempory manual is very minimal; it gives no detail. It shows a signal light/brake light converter box. Could this be the culprit? Is it the size of a Hershey bar? But I have brake lights.

Does anybody have a DETAILED wiring schematic? I'll pay for one. I contacted Ron Francis a couple years ago & they asked for a serial #. Naturally it was missing. They wanted to sell me a new harness. No way.

Did get the brakes working, finally.

Check grounds and if bulbs are good (sounds basic but can be the problem) there should be double filliment bulbs (stop & blinker). Also signsal stat under dash.

If the brake lights work, then the ground at the tail lights is fine. Do the lights come on at all, just not blink? Do your 4 way flashers work? If so, swap flasher units (large silver "cans" in the fuse box) and see if the problem moves to the 4 ways.

It never came w/4-ways. Got brake lights. The high beam switch puts on the high beam. No signal lights whatsoever. Nothing. It doesn't look like power is going to the turn signal stalk. I will try to trace the hot wire going backwards.

Probably going to put a new harness in it. One that comes w/a detailed wiring diagram.

Default No turn signals

Uncouple the connection from the harness to the signal selector. Clean and re-seat. Also check for loose connections into the connector socket (both ends).
